Revenues Hit $2 Million, Couple Splits – 2011

We were very fortunate to get our first retail distribution deal with MEC Mountain Equipment Coop in Canada. We had been selling wholesale to them since 2010 but we didn’t really know what to expect. It turned out to be a great experience for us because we learned a lot about how to run a business and how to market ourselves. We also met a lot of great people along the way. Our second major break came in 2013 when we signed a deal with Costco Wholesale. This was a huge step forward for us because we finally had access to a larger customer base. At that point, we knew we were ready to take the next step and expand into other markets.

Lead poisoning occurs when lead enters the body through ingestion, inhalation, or skin contact. Symptoms of acute lead exposure include headache, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, confusion, irritability, seizures, coma, and death. Chronic lead exposure results in damage to the brain, kidneys, liver, heart, bones, and blood vessels. Children are particularly vulnerable because they absorb lead faster than adults.
